Due to the success of last years 3 peaks charity walk, the team here at Craven Safety Services have decided to again raise funds for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity, the charity’s current costs to stay running for 1 day is at £12,000 so we would love to raise as much as we can to contribute towards the incredible work that they do!
Liz Preston, Debbie Gomersall and Kerry Greenwood will be walking The 52 Mile Herriot Way, Starting and finishing at the traditional point of Aysgarth, we will be setting off over a 4 day hike up valleys, high, open fells and rolling, heather-clad moorland, crossing The Great Shunner Fell which is ranked 3rd highest mountain in The Yorkshire Dales. We will be camping over 3 nights in total giving us stages of 13 miles per day to complete.
